POST MALONE, BILLIE EILISH, AND ARIANA GRANDE WERE SPOTIFY'S MOST-STREAMED ARTISTS OF THE YEAR

Spotify just released the most-streamed artist of the year list for 2019 and the list is telling. Post Malone, Billie Eilish, and Ariana Grande were the year's most-streamed artists.

This year, Post Malone was the most-streamed artist with over 6.5 billion streams from fans around the globe. Not only is it his first time topping Spotify’s Wrapped list, but according to Spotify, he was able to claim the title in just 12 weeks after dropping his album. One of his hit songs is also the second most-streamed album globally this year.

Billie Eilish is the second-most-streamed artist of the year and is only 17 years old.

Her album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? surpassed 6 billion streams, and one of her songs ranks as the second-most-streamed song of the year.

Ariana Grande's album helped her secure the number three on Spotify’s list of most-streamed-artists globally. One of her songs was also in the top five most-streamed this year.
