“I wanted to create a brand that busy women, like myself, would actually use. Working on Wall Street, self-care constantly got pushed to the bottom of my priorities because I didn’t have the time to follow a twelve-step skincare routine. I believe we should never have to compromise on our self-care, so I wanted to create a brand that allowed us to take a moment for ourselves, even if it truly only was a moment. I’ve experienced all the skin issues under the sun, from breakouts to rosacea, and I’ve tried all the ‘solutions’ marketed at people like me. Unfortunately most of them contain ingredients that actually cause or worsen sensitivities, so it was incredibly important to me to create a brand that’s part of the solution, not part of the problem.”
One standout product we reviewed was the best-selling Night Ranger Overnight Renewal Mask. This transformative sleep mask combines retinol with papaya and pineapple enzymes and Lime Pearl™, a unique alpha hydroxy acid derived from the native Australian caviar lime. “We recently launched and premiered our new products at the IECSC and Cosmoprof Expos this summer and the initial response has been fantastic. Our boosters are very targeted treatments, which can be used alone or mixed into our Intensive Restorative Crème to provide extra brightening, exfoliating or balancing benefits. Our Skin Taut Body Sculpting Cream is our first body care product, helping to address cellulite and tighten the skin for a smoother and more refined body contour.”
Olga Parno has ambitious goals for the future of Masktini. With expanding global distribution and strategic partnerships with retailers, Masktini is well-positioned for growth. “I am beyond blessed to have the team I have around me, without them I wouldn’t be able to do anything. I still work with my Creative Director, who joined Masktini in 2018 and is responsible for everything from our beautiful packaging to our website. We’ve worked side-by-side since before the brand officially launched and that kind of partnership is incredibly important to me. We just launched in Saks here in the US, with Macy’s and Bloomingdales to follow soon, and we’re expanding into global distribution, working with retailers such as DermStore and SkinStore to further our reach. There’s a lot going on and one day we’d love to see Masktini as a successful brand in Sephora - that’s our dream!”
