Dallas, Texas โ€” The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, currently buzzing with excitement for the NCA All-Star National Championship, was thrown into chaos today as a disturbance eyewitnesses say came from an alleged shooter, prompted widespread panic among attendees. Law enforcement officials are responding to what has been described as an "incident" occurring in the vicinity of the Omni Hotel and the convention center.

The Dallas Police Department issued a statement urging the public to steer clear of the area as they work to assess the situation. โ€œDallas Police are investigating an incident near the Omni Hotel and Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Please avoid this area,โ€ the department advised.

In response to the unfolding events, authorities have set up a family reunification center at Dallas Police Headquarters, located at 1400 Botham Jean Blvd., to assist those affected by the disturbance. As the investigation continues, more details will emerge regarding the nature of the incident and its impact on the ongoing championship event.
