McAfee warns of celebrity search results malware

Cyber security experts at McAfee, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity companies, says that one of the most dangerous celebrities to search for online is “Orange is the New Black” actress Ruby Rose.

They acknowledged that many cyber criminals use celebrity search results to create pages where malicious software can be found. The result is that when a user clicks or taps on a hyperlink on the search results, their system security and privacy can become compromised.

McAfee says the top three celeb searches with the most malicious pages linked to them are Ruby Rose at #1, Kristin Cavallari at #2, and actress Mario Cotillard at #3.
